Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your information, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how Just B2B Group Ltd ("Just B2B", "we", "us") handles your personal information when you contact us, request a quote or use our website. We are a UK commercial finance broker. We arrange finance, energy, insurance and payment services for businesses by introducing you to providers on our panel.

Who we are

Just B2B Group Ltd is registered in England and Wales, Company No. 14976421. Our registered office is at [registered office address to confirm]. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration ZB663470. For any question about your information, email info@itsjustb2b.com.

We are the data controller for the information you give us directly. When we pass your details to a provider so they can prepare a quote, that provider becomes a controller of your information as well, and their own privacy policy will then apply.

What information we collect

We only collect what we need to help you. Depending on what you ask us to arrange, this can include:

  • Contact details, such as your name, business email, phone number and address.
  • Business details, such as your company name, company number, trading address, sector, turnover and how long you have traded.
  • Information needed to source finance, energy, insurance and payment quotes, such as the amount or facility you want, your current contracts, energy usage or card takings, and similar details a provider needs to price an offer.
  • Records of your contact with us, such as emails, calls and form submissions.
  • Basic website and device information collected through cookies, which our cookie policy explains.

We do not ask for special category data, such as health information, as a routine part of our service. Please do not send it to us unless we specifically ask and explain why.

How we use your information and our lawful basis

We use your information to provide our broking service. That means understanding what you need, obtaining quotes on your behalf from providers on our panel, and introducing you to the provider you choose. We also use it to answer your questions, keep records, meet our legal and tax obligations, and improve our website and service.

Under UK GDPR, we rely on these lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests, to respond to your enquiry, run our broking service and manage our business, in a way you would reasonably expect and that does not override your rights.
  • Consent, where you have opted in to marketing, or where the law requires consent, for example for certain cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract, where we are taking steps at your request before or during an introduction.
  • Legal obligation, where we have to keep records or share information to comply with the law.

Who we share it with

To obtain your quotes, we share relevant details with providers on our panel. These can include lenders, insurers, energy suppliers and payment providers, so they can assess your needs and make an offer. We only share what a provider needs for your request.

We also use trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as IT, hosting, email and analytics suppliers, who process information on our instructions. We may share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or others. We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing

We will only send you marketing where you have agreed to it, or where the law otherwise allows us to contact your business. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@itsjustb2b.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop service messages about a quote or introduction you have asked for.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it. That usually means for the length of our relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle queries, meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, and deal with any claims. When we no longer need it, we securely delete or anonymise it. [standard retention period to confirm]

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access, to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Rectification, to have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Erasure, to ask us to delete information where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
  • Restriction, to ask us to limit how we use your information.
  • Objection, to object to us using your information for our legitimate interests or for marketing.
  • Portability, to receive certain information in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, email info@itsjustb2b.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
